Tears of Fire came into being in 2019 when the Chinese government censored the Wuhan medical community's attempt to warn the country about a new strain of coronavirus. Casualties rose drastically as a consequence. In shock, I turned to drawing and collage to express my empathy for the Chinese people. As the epidemic grew into a pandemic, I expanded these drawings into an ongoing requiem fr all affected people.
