Shredded Impressions revisits Monet's thirty paintings of the Rouen Cathedral (1892-1893), painted from the same angle in different natural lights, becoming a contemporary impression of Impressionist paintings. The structure of these pieces refers to the rose window of the Rouen cathedral, but generates its own architecture. The compositions are my intuitive vision not of the exterior of the cathedral, but of the light seen from inside the cathedral.
